Xerox UK celebrates 'best ever Drupa'

Xerox UK has claimed that Drupa 2008 proved its most successful to date.

Director and general manager Peter Taylor said: "This has been the best Drupa so far for Xerox UK, and a real breakthrough year for digital print technology... While our product and solution demonstrations attracted the crowds, it was the number and quality of contracts signed at the show that prove our strategy is the right one."

Among the UK signings, Burlington Digital bought an iGen3 to cope with increased work, while marketing services company CDMS revamped its Xerox stable of 92C systems with a Xerox Docutech 180 highlight colour machine to meet demand for spot colour work in the finance sector.

The company said more than 100,000 visitors came to the stand at the show where it exhibited its latest range of equipment, including the iGen4, and previewed upcoming technologies such as cured gel inks.
