Sun Chemical has extended its presence in the sheetfed offset market with the launch of Sun Chemical Diamond, a range of four-colour process inks designed for commercial and packaging printing.

The ink giant said the range, which was launched on 1 October, maintains a fast setting and offers low misting. According to the company, the new ink guarantees lithographic stability at all speeds, high quality dot reproduction and fount stability.

Sun Chemical aded that the ink setting process is much quicker than other comparable products.

Marketing director for UK & Ireland Emma Isichei said: "Sun Chemical Diamond will provide the market with a consistent, high-quality product that uses a secured source of raw materials, while respecting the environmental challenges that face the whole printing industry."
